My Story
I followed in my grandfather's footsteps to become a teacher and earned a degree in atmospheric science at UCLA, followed by a teaching credential at CSULB. I never thought I'd end up on a music video set, but it all began as a helpful gesture to support my producer friend. Moving the crew's lunch to translate the director's orders eventually evolved into an opportunity to produce a music video for one of K-pop's biggest boy bands, Stray Kids. I orchestrated the set much like I had prepared and delivered a lesson on photosynthesis, except this time,
I finally felt I was in the right place.

Shortly after realizing that this was my true passion, I worked as a producer and an assistant director for some of K-pop's biggest bands and solo artists. One of my strengths was my attention to detail. I noticed an error in the choreography that the director and editor had overlooked during editing, making the scene more coherent with the storyboard. This attention to detail and my ability to plan a perfect filming day (which I quickly learned only exists in theory through experience) sets me apart as a music video producer and an AD. My dream doesn't stop here. The struggle I faced to assimilate as a foreigner has endowed me with unique qualities and a deep understanding of both worlds. I envision becoming a director who can bridge the gap between K-pop and pop culture in America.
